Holiday Decoration

I created a decoration for a Christmas party this year made up of pages from my sketchbook from this year.  It took about 3 hours to get it right.  I had a couple pieces that I tore during the folding process.  Then I wanted to make sure the glue dried so I used clothes pins.

If there is one shirt from my collection that I would choose get a tattoo of, this would be the one.  I drew this for a friend a few years back and he adored the image.  He is no longer with us today, but truly tied me to a lot of great people and relationships that continue in the present.

 I know things have been a little quiet, but that just means I'm busy working on some BIG projects, so by all means, stay tuned!

Art Tribe: tofusquirrel

Elizabeth Siegel is one awesome artist.  I was glad I got to talk to her about her original work at the New York Comic Con.  She has some very fancy tour posters for MC Chris and other creative illustrations to share.  Her style is so distinctive that I'm very sure we will all recognize her work from this day forward.  Its always fun to see an artist show Halloween love and this image comes from her excellent blog.  Bring on the cool curves, fun textures, vibrant colors and winding lines...its time to enter the world of the tofusquirrel here.

What is Roxy to me?

Roxy is where I made life long connections to people and music.  I met my best friend and countless other close friends.  Its where I escaped from the high stress and long hours of the entry level job.  Leaving the stress on the dance floor was probably one of the best options out there.  Moments of people and music will never be forgotten.  Flashbacks appear in my head like pages in a photo album.  This playground still lives in my thoughts and if it ever were to return, I'd be right there.

Pop Arts: Smurfs and Tron

We've been greeted with The Smurfs movie trailer this summer so I thought it was time to put my spin on it.  Here is Sideshow Smurf, which I believe is actually the name of an episode.  Honestly, its just my imagination at work.

And since I'm a sucker for the glow look of Tron Legacy I had share the glow render from my upcoming Demon Pack New Dimension art series.  I'm not sure this is a final or if its going to get some more production time.
