Collection Preview & To Die For Clothing
A preview of my t-shirt collection creations is just a click here away. I have also added a link to To Die For Clothing who simply put out some of my own personal favorite t-shirts. I hold a ton of respect for their work.

Tattoo
Tattoo / Body Art Concepts Here are some sketches I did recently. They remind me of when I was in art school and in figure drawing class. Sometimes we would go back and put tribal tattoos on the drawings during breaks. If your into the real-deal check out Twisted Sol in Denver, CO or tune into Miami Ink on TLC. Tattoo ink is a big inspiration of mine. I'm fascinated in how the ink wraps around the body. Thanks for visiting! -Brett |

Cowboys
So I've been working on my Joe Kubert penciling assignments. The materials for the course by mail are amazing and I highly highly recommend it to any artist with any sort of interest. Maybe its because I love comic art... oh well, hope to keep posting progress!

Goo Demo: Core Gameplay and ZUI
Here is their demo, enjoy! -Brett
Goo Demo: Fan Art
Here is some fan art based on my friend Tommy’s game that is in development. His team has created a very cool organic fighter game. It makes me think of having a ketchup and mustard fight and the winner is determined by whomever has the most of their condiment of choice in view at the end of the timed fight. Above I illustrated the nucleus fighters and their respective goo they control. A true game would have the goo much more interlocked and clumped up. So I wish Tommy and his team of developers the best of luck in getting this into people’s hands by the end of the year! His YouTube demo is posted in an entry above.

ImageKind Gallery
I created an ImageKind gallery over the weekend. The pictures include a new design called "The Meeting" which should be making its way onto a t-shirt in the coming months. Thanks for checking in! -Brett

Anna Schmidt: Talent in the Family
Let me introduce you to my sister Anna. She is not a designer by trade, but takes on the creative tasks in her work place. Here she is pictured with the billboard she designed for one of the master planned communities she works for. Not every Director of Community Events can say that they also designed the Community billboard. She is a fan of many things creative so I came up with some questions for her.
1. What do you recommend people bump to the
top of their Netflix queue?
Anna: Ninja Scroll, Akira, and Vampire Hunter D are my old school favorites. Right now I have some newer anime movies in my queue. If they turnout to be good, you'll be the first to know.
2. Other than the billboard, what else do you produce using InDesign?
Anna: I love InDesign, I learn something new every time I start a new
project! I use it for all sorts of media. It's been essential for
community newsletters, fliers, posters, event signage, marketing
mailers and even letterhead.
3. Do you have any design inspirations online?
Anna: That's a really good question. I need to spend more time
appreciating website design and layout versus shopping online... I bet
it would be cheaper too.
Oddly enough, I get most of my inspirations while driving. There's
usually no one else in the car to inturrupt me or tell me that my idea
sucks.
4. What is one of your favorite shorts from Robot Chicken?
Anna: ANYTHING with My Little Pony, a Super Hero, or Star Wars...I love that show!!!
Thanks Anna! -Brett

Illustration Friday: poem: Blue October "Sound Of Pulling Heaven Down"
The topic for Illustration Friday was poem, therefore I took some lyrics from Blue October's song "Sound Of Pulling Heaven Down" and decided to add some imagery. -Brett
