Illustration Friday: influence

A couple strong influences have crossed my art table recently...

I was trying to warm-up one day and drew some influence from tofusquirrel with this lil kitty :)

Also, I currently have the Caged Warrior in production and I really felt the Keith Haring influence emerge out after I vectorized the original drawing.  Very pleased with the high contrast in the final image.

Thank You,

Arena New York: A Current Mix with a Classic Touch

I just finished the cover to Gerard Mattera's latest podcast, check out the updated Arena beats below:

Here is how Gerard describes it: "I Did this Set as the Evolution of Arena, and my painted vision of what it would feel like today. There are a mixture of Arena Classics "Touch" France Jolie, "Every Hour on The Hour", Brutal Bill's "Destiny", and Rodger S. "Walking on the moon" to name a Few... Enjoy it and ENTER THE ARENA!!!"

Robyn - "Call Your Girlfriend" (Kaskade Club Mix) Demon Pack Animated Video

I was an instant fan when Kaskade took Robyn's song for "Call Your Girlfriend" and transformed it into a big energetic colorful dance floor sound.  I took pieces of Max Vitali's directed video to keep the lyrics + Robyn at the heart ... my addition ... the custom animation for Kaskade's beats for a heightened club feel.  I had to satisfy the images flashing in my head whenever I'd listen to his mix.

Thank You For Watching,

Before & After: ALIEN COMPLETELY SHORN OF ITS HAIR

Topic from Daily Sketch Group at Conceptart.org. I only used the Wacom on this one.  Its not nearly as easy as dropping my pencil on the paper, but it really makes me think color on the fly.

Thanks for viewing :)
